Dr. Vonnise R. Hussey, DNP is a Doctorate-prepared Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has developed a foundation for managing a variety of healthcare concerns from delivering care to newborns to caring for the elderly. Dr. Hussey has overseen a variety of health issues and illnesses while providing preventive care to all ages.

 

Dr. Hussey began her career as a Registered Nurse working extensively in areas of healthcare such as pediatric intensive care units, medical-surgical units, child and adolescent in-patient psychiatry, and a number of other specialty areas. This experience has earned her immeasurable knowledge for treating minor illnesses to chronic care illnesses across a diverse population. 

 

Dr. Hussey returned for further education to receive her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Masters in Nursing degrees from Chamberlain University.

She is passionate about the health of others and is an advocate for the healthcare needs of everyone which includes a focus on health education and literacy while strengthening the community to promote the best quality of life.
